# Embroidery.US

> Embroidery.US is artistic embroidery mural software: a web app that turns photos and ideas into custom, machine-ready embroidery designs. It is operated by Excretech LLC.

## What it does
- Upload a photo or describe an idea; the Digitizer prepares the picture (hoop size 4 to 36 inches, thread count, crop shapes, background removal, colour modes).
- Choose an artistic style: Sculpted Relief, Detailed Gouache, Bold Poster Gouache, Heirloom Cross Stitch, Continuous-Line Painting, Realist Oil Painting, Thread Mural, Impressionist Oil Painting, Swirling Brushwork Painting, Mosaic Cross Stitch, Watercolor Ink Sketch, Delft Blue Etching, Pen-and-Ink Drawing, Silhouette Line Art, Contour Line Art.
- Generate the stitches, then edit them in the browser (select, delete, move, copy and paste, undo and redo, change thread colours).
- Threads are matched to real weight-40 colours from Madeira, Amann, Coats and Gunold.
- Download DST, PES, JEF, EXP, VP3, U01, XXX and TBF machine files plus a PDF design chart (picture, thread and stitch order, size, stitch count, trims, sewing time at 600/1200/2200 stitches per minute).
- Generating is free with a free account; downloads are paid with credits. Finished designs are emailed and saved in My Designs.
